The Streetwear we Wear is a Political Statement!

Streetwear is more than just about looking like you represent.  It is also about taking up a cause and showing everyone you meet, that you believe in that cause.  Obviously when Obama was running for president, wearing a shirt showing your support was telling the country how you felt. But, there are other more subtle messages about what we wear.  For example, all the t-shirts that popped up about Lil' Wayne being let out of jail, represented the larger issue of young black men being put in jail, where the time did not fit the crime.  If you believe that he was sentenced harshly for his gun possession, then wear one of the shirts that requests that he be let out of jail.  His sentence, while legal, was an overreaction and typical of the government.  Let's express how we truly feel, and make it known that the time must fit the crime!
